Volume, not weight
A cubic yard describes space. The weight varies by material and moisture, so vehicle payload and delivery planning cannot be based on bed dimensions alone.
How to calculate it
Multiply length × width × depth using the same units, convert to cubic feet, then divide by 27. The calculator does this for rectangles, circles, triangles, and combined areas.
Geometric amount vs. ordering allowance
